Quick rundown: Tyler Adams, registered architect (Texas), licensed real estate broker, AIA, LEED AP, Realtor, graduate of University of North Texas. Official launch date of my own business full time: September 3, 2013.I think of myself as a good writer, but every time I sit down for a blog post, I think of myself as a no-talent clown. But here we are in the blogosphere, where talent is not a prerequisite to publication.
I’ll try to keep this focused on more of a professional slant. A goal with this blog was to put up my design portfolio, but I created this blog over a year ago and have only put up one project on which I worked as a CAD monkey in 1999. Hopefully I will actually do more of this, because otherwise I will forget: I was horrified this week to be discussing a project I worked on at Gensler almost 10 years ago with a vendor and realizing I could remember very few details of the project. It was awful.
As a’ve started off on my own, this blog has become more of a window into what’s going on in my head as it relates to starting a new business, creating strategy, and vetting out my hopes and fears. Maybe one day this thing will have a theme that lasts for a while.
Hopefully this blog will bring some value to you and I welcome your comments.
i like the honesty. looking forward to reading more and getting to know you.
